transom:

  1. Oh, I LOVE folderol! It's an old, old friend of mine, because where I come from, we still tend to use it.

  4. Thanks for reminding me of both these lovely words. Transom isn't one that comes up all that often, but is usually obvious from context. Folderol doesn't come up nearly often enough does it? I'm going to try and use it this week.
