TipToeing Tuesdays...

A quadrille (44 Words) being whispered today for dVerse Poets

Sweet whispers
Whispers of mama
Swept over me
Soft as petals,
As sweet as honey
Tendrils of sunshine
Slipped through
Greeting my morning
With gentle smiles
 Time flew by
Where we do not know
As we greeted the stars
And whispers of mama
Swept over me

For First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intro hosted by Bibliophile, from 'A Wrinkle in Time'

'It was a dark and stormy night.
In her attic bedroom Margaret Murry, wrapped in an old patchwork quilt, sat on the foot of her bed and watched the trees tossing in the frenzied lashing of the wind. Behind the tree clouds scudded frantically across the sky. Every few moments the moon ripped through them, creating wraithlike shadows that raced along the ground.'

For Ruby Tuesday, here is a collage of photos I took a couple of years ago now, at the annual Lalbagh Independence Day Flower Show in Bangalore (or Bengaluru), India. I have been lucky to be able to visit India (and family) every summer for the past few years, and as this show starts right before we head back to the US, we make it a point to see the show (once it opened the very day we were heading home, and we made a rushed visit at 7 in the morning before heading to the airport later that day). This is a beautiful show that is way more than just flowers, and creativity at every corner.
